The fire damper is typically installed in the ventilation duct and remains open during normal conditions. When the airflow temperature reaches 70°C, the damper closes.
When the temperature reaches 70°C, the temperature fusible link activates, and the damper closes by the force of the spring.
The damper can be closed automatically or manually, and manually reset.
After the damper closes, an electrical signal can be sent out to interlock with the corresponding fan.
